MIDNIGHT THEATRE: REVENGE of the
OCTAGON is now live on KICKSTARTER!
www.kickstarter.com/projects/6…
Our Indiegogo
campaign was a bust, largely because our rewards sucked, so we refunded the
money everyone pledged -- many thanks to everyone who did -- in the hopes that
you'll support our new campaign. We have doubled the number of rewards
available and most of them are at the lower end. What does that mean to you? It
means more bang for your donor buck! If you donate a buck -- one dollar! --
you'll get a digital copy of the first issue! And a Sky Bond! That's awesome!
We've
also dropped our overall funding goal for the first issue to $3500. That is the
absolute lowest we can go to make this book happen and a helluva lot easier to
achieve.
So please -- PLEASE -- donate to MIDNIGHT THEATRE. You literally
hold the power to make a man's dream come true in your spare change jar! Also,
this is an 'all-or-none' campaign, so if we don't hit $3500 you WILL get your
money back, guaranteed!
Thanks again for your time and helping us make this a
reality! Remember that our goal is to put a great comic book filled with
action, humor and simian prosthetics in your hands!

Dead for Hire is in full swing. The amazing art from Krzysiek Budziejewski and colorist Yuan Cakra look great. Dead for Hire is the somewhat tragic story of Ike Taylor, a war vet turned P.I., turned ghost after his murder back in 1954 in a warehouse in L.A.'s Chinatown. After the place of his death, to which he has been anchored to for the past 60 years is destroyed, Ike is out to solve his murder. Or at least he thinks that's the reason he never crossed over and has been stuck on earth as a ghost.
Dead for Hire takes a deep, and sometimes funny look at what it is that we hold most dear in life. Of course we throw in some supernatural fun along the way. The first issue is scheduled for completion by the end of March with a Kickstarter campaign to be launched after February 26th to help with the production costs.
